John Edward Robinson (February 20, 1921 - March 2, 2000) was a relief pitcher who played briefly for the Boston Red Sox during the 1949 season. Listed at 6' 0", 175 lb., Robinson batted and threw right-handed. He was born in Orange, New Jersey.
In three relief appearances, Robinson posted a 2.25 ERA in 4.0 innings of work, giving up one run on four hits and one walk while striking out one. He did not have a decision or save.
Robinson died in Ormond Beach, Florida, at the age of 79.
